CONNEXTIONS ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA FACILITY
The company will immediately add 150 new jobs
ORLANDO, FL – November 29, 2006 – Connextions Inc. has completed a strategic expansion that will enable the company to immediately add 150 technology, customer service and sales agents to its growing operation in Concord, North Carolina. The company intends to have the new employees in place by midDecember.
The addition brings the number of employees in Concord, North Carolina, to more than 350. Another 50 highlyskilled workers will be added at the Concord facility in February. Upon build out, the Concord facility, which opened on Oct. 6, will have the capacity for nearly 650 professionals. An additional 1,800 employees work at the company’s headquarters in Orlando.
"We’re still in the rampup mode and we’re still hiring and training," said Tracey Ayers, Senior Vice President for Connextions in Concord. She noted, "Despite our rapid growth, we’re taking the necessary steps to ensure that we maintain high standards of excellence for our clients, which ensures longterm relationships with them."
The Concord facility serves as a backup center to the company’s Orlando headquarters, ensuring that Connextions’ clients receive consistent uninterrupted services even during unforeseen emergencies or natural disasters such as hurricanes.
